About the Photographer
Jerome Zerbe (July 24, 1904 – August 19, 1988) pioneered the genre of celebrity photography. Unlike modern day paparazzo, Zerbe was friends with the subjects he photographed and was often invited to vacation with them. In a career that spanned more than fifty years, Zerbe’s library holds well over 50,000 photos.
